Rice has been an essential element of the Murcian diet since rice was first grown in this area during the Moorish occupation, which lasted from 711 to 1243AD, and the dishes produced are similar to Valencian paella, although the rice used is different and Murcians favour different core ingredients for their rice dishes, seafood in particular.

In addition to the rice dishes, the restaurant serves a wide range of meats cooked “a la brasa” over a wood fire, including steaks, ribs, pork steak, duck and roasted lamb.
