The number of PCR tests has once again increased
The number of covid cases detected in the Region of Murcia has once again increased, as the number of PCR tests rises, the 4,154 tests undertaken in the last 24 hours considerably higher than the 2,546 on Tuesday and the 2,247 on Monday, which in turn reduced the number of cases to 275 on Tuesday and the 234 announced on Monday.
This gives a positivity rate of 11.4%, one percent higher than the last two days, but still far from the 15% being recorded last week.

This higher number of new cases has exceeded the 328 recovered patients of the last 24 hours (the total recovered has now risen to 8,272 as a result), so the total number of active cases has once again resumed an upward trajectory, rising to 7,736 and taking the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 17,910.
Of the new infections, 123 correspond to the municipality of Murcia, 77 to Totana (which is now the municipality with the highest accumulated incidence in the region), 58 to Lorca, 48 to Jumilla, 17 to Cartagena, 13 to Caravaca de la Cruz, 12 to Alhama de Murcia, 11 to Cieza, 11 to Molina de Segura , 10 to Yecla, 9 to Torre Pacheco, 7 to Mazarrón, 7 to Las Torres de Cotillas, 6 to Alcantarilla, 6 to Santomera, 5 to Los Alcázares, and 5 to Archena. The rest are distributed among various municipalities in smaller quantities.
