The Promúsica concerts at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas are run by a non-profit-making association which aims to offer a complete programme of classical music throughout the year in the municipality.
The 2019-20 season began on 12th October with the opera La Traviata and runs through to the end of June 2020, offering 9 concerts, most with a full orchestra and soloists, plus a series of four chamber music events. This season many of the soloists are once again pianists, while many of the orchestral events feature the Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra (OSRM) or other touring ensembles, and the programme represents a great opportunity to hear a variety of works composed by Ludwig van Beethoven among many others.
Tickets for the concerts can be purchased singly for 15€ for orchestral concerts and 10 euros for chamber music from Victoria Travel (Calle Isabel la Católica nº 1, telephone 968 414752) or two hours before the start of each performance from the box office of the auditorium, as well as from Promúsica, while season tickets for the cycle are on sale at just 100 euros (45 euros for children and students) to those who would like to join the association and support classical music in Águilas.

8th February
The OSRM visit Águilas accompanied by the choir Coral Orpheus Music and soloists to offer a performance of Verdi’s Requiem.
6th March
Pianists Bertrand Giraud and Bruno Canino offer a chamber music concert.
27th March
The OSRM perform Mendelssohn’s concerto for two pianos and orchestra and Tchaikovsky’s 5th symphony.
24th April
A concert of baroque music by the ADUA Symphony Orchestra, with pieces by Händel, Vitali, Vivaldo and Bach.
8th May
A chamber concert of music by Beethoven featuring pianist Marian Kant Sevik.
22nd May
The OSRM return to Águilas with a programme consisting of Mozart’s concerto for two pianos nº 10 and Sarasate’s “Fantasia Carmen”.
26th June
The end-of-season orchestral concert marks the completion of the 2019-20 Promúsica season at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas. programme to be confirmed.
