A new Mediterranean restaurant has opened on La Manga Golf Resort

‘Aquarium’ is the brand new restaurant everyone is talking about at La Manga Club

La Manga Club has an exciting new restaurant called ‘Aquarium’ that has been operational for a few weeks now. The eatery is located in the Atamaría Golf Shopping Centre, opposite the football fields.

The Aquarium Mediterranean Restaurant & Cocktail Bar has a large space for entertaining guests and eating dinner. The indoor area has a floor space of 300 square metres, while outdoors the area for eating is another 300 square metres. Furthermore, there is also an excellent play area for children on site.

Adrián García Martínez is the man in charge of the new restaurant and hospitality area. The local man from La Manga, says that he is looking for the restaurant to be inclusive to many people from all different areas of the world.

Although the residents of this exclusive area along the Cartagena coast are predominantly English, the restaurant has managed to attract the interest of Spaniards, Swedes, Norwegians and also Belgians.

The seven employees that work in the restaurant therefore are tasked with creating an atmosphere like no other in order for the restaurant to really stand out.

So far the team is doing a great job, as the reception to the new restaurant has been excellent. The eatery’s cuisine revolves around classic Mediterranean dishes that are much beloved by the guests. Moreover, the establishment serves breakfast in the morning and cocktails late at night.

The restaurant focuses on perfectly combining the best of Mediterranean cuisine with exquisite Moroccan flavours and touches of various international influences. This combination has been championed by various customers, one of which stated that the dishes have, "an impeccable presentation that you can tell was made with care."

Many have taken to this approach to cooking and the restaurant is gaining a lot of local supporters in its first few weeks of being open. The close proximity of the golf course has also helped the new establishment bring in new customers to try the great food at the restaurant.

Adrián García has stated himself that "We are very well positioned as a transit area for buggies and golfers in the area, sportsmen who come to train at La Manga Club," and because of this the restaurant is attracting many customers.

Moreover, he continues by explaining that the mission of the restaurant is "to bring to this coastal area a breath of fresh air typical of a city in a place as beautiful and touristy as La Manga."

The restaurant has therefore gained many loyal customers in the past few weeks since it opened its doors. 'Aquarium’ and the reputation is it gaining has all been very positive and it looks to be a success story in the making.
