As of 16.00 on Monday February 6 tickets are on sale to attend two of the most popular events during the famed Carnival celebrations in Águilas (click here for full schedule): the annual Drag Queen and Chirigota (comic musical groups) competitions.
The 19th Drag Queen gala takes place on Saturday March 4 at 21.00 in the Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos "Infanta Doña Elena" on the seafront, with tickets priced at 10, 15 and 20 euros. They are available to buy online here.
On March 10 it’s the turn of the chirigota gala, which also begins at 21.00, with tickets also available to purchase here.
Alternatively, tickets are also available at the local archaeological museum and the Casa de la Cultura “Francisco Rabal”.
