Blue zone free parking in Lorca throughout August

August has arrived and for drivers in Lorca that can mean only one thing: completely free parking in all blue zones.

Drivers in Lorca can park for free in the city’s blue zones throughout the month of August, with no need to use ticket machines or the EasyPark app.

In addition to this, the green spaces, which are normally reserved for residents and registered businesses, will also be open to all motorists without charge until the end of the month.

Councillor for Urban Quality Juan Miguel Bayonas explained that this seasonal break from fees is allowed under local regulations and has become a regular summer benefit for locals and visitors alike.

He reminded drivers that from September 1, normal parking rules will resume and payments must be made again, either at machines on the street or via the EasyPark app, which is growing in popularity.

The local parking company Limusa also offers a range of tailored options year-round, including discounted rates for professionals and electric vehicles.
