ARCHIVED - Cases and admissions down following first weekend of new normal: Valencia Covid update October 11
ARCHIVED ARTICLE
25 fewer hospital admissions and 19 fewer ICU beds occupied since Friday October 8 as positive trajectory continues in Alicante and the rest of the region
A continued slide in the number of new Covid infections and hospital admissions has seen the Valencia region's 14-day cumulative incidence rate fall from 37.04 cases per 100,000 people on Friday October 8 to 34.78.
This means Valencia is now the autonomous region with the sixth lowest incidence, behind Asturias, Galicia, Castilla y León, Andalucia and La Rioja, below the national average of 46.08 cases.
And whilst it's still early to gauge the impact of the move, data released by the Ministry of Health today confirms a continued downward trend.
