Club MMGR Director of Padel travels to Miami Florida to train and certify new padel coaches

Club MMGR Director of Padel and General Manager, Alfonso Sernández, travels to the USA to induct new coaches into the sport of Padel

Mar Menor Golf Resort’s Club MMGR Director of Padel and General Manager, Alfonso Sernández, recently travelled to Miami Florida where, in his capacity as a qualified Padel instructor, he ran an induction course for aspiring coaches. The course was a great success and resulted in 22 new coaches being certified to teach what has become the fastest growing sport in the world.

On his return to Club MMGR Alfonso spoke about his visit to Miami:

“The course was a complete success, with more than 22 new coaches certified to teach padel. I was thrilled with the level of enthusiasm and dedication shown by the coaches, and I’m confident that they will make a significant contribution to the sport in the years to come.

“During my visit to Miami, I also had the opportunity to catch up with my friends and meet new people. I have been living in Miami for the past 5 years, and it was great to see how much the sport of padel has grown in the city. I visited new clubs and met with investors to learn more about their projects and explore ways to help them promote the sport.

“I am very excited about the future of padel in Miami, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to support its growth. Next month I will be travelling to Chicago and New York to certify new padel coaches.”

The Club MMGR sports and lesiure facility is located on the Mar Menor Golf Resort in the Region of Murcia.

 

Founded in 2008, the Club is one of the foremost centres for sports excellence in the south of Spain, and has lots to offer golfing, padel and football enthusiasts.

 

They regularly have coaching sessions and great events for young and old alike in both English and Spanish at their football pitches, gym, swimming pool, 9-hole minigolf course and padel facilities, with world-class professional sportspeople coming to coach at the club.

 

There is also a café, bar and restaurant area where they host activities like dancing, concerts and fun themed nights, and they can help you to book to stay at the Mar Menor Golf Resort hotel or to take kayak, canoe, jet ski and water sports day trips out in the local area.
