No plans for the weekend? We can fix that with these four free activities in the Region of Murcia, whether you fancy a virtual reality concert or a guided walk through a historic town.

Symphony. A trip to the heart of music.

A travelling exhibition offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in classical music, by composers such as Beethoven, Mahler and Bernstein, using virtual reality (VR) technology.

The La Caixa Foundation have organised this activity, which will be open to the public until November 8, in Murcia city (Avenida de la Libertad). Free reservations can be made from Monday to Sunday on www.educaixa.org.

Creamurcia 2021. Photography and Visual Art Exhibition.

Photography and artwork by the finalists of the CreaMurcia contest will be on display at the Puertas de Castilla Culture Centre from Friday at 8.30pm; a perfect opportunity to take in the young artistic talent in the Region of Murcia.

Guided visit through Mula’s Old Town

For those who fancy a stroll on Saturday afternoon, the Town Hall in Mula is offering a guided tour of the town at 6.30pm, starting at the San Francisco convent.

And, even if your Spanish is a little rusty, the gorgeous architecture and scenery will present no language barrier.

Circular Market and urban art in Santa Eulalia

The market is going to be open all day on Saturday, with several activities planned throughout the day. The Circular Market aims to raise awareness about sustainability and the event will also be travelling to other areas, including Sangonera la Verde, Cabezo de Torres and Puente Tocinos, at later dates.
