Click HereThe ZOOT SUITERS have appeared on various occasions at the San Javier Jazz Festival, and this time are offering a free concert on Sunday July 3 in the Plaza de España in the town centre.
The Murcia-based band pay homage to the history of “jazz”, a word which first appeared on a recording by the Original Dixieland Band in January 1917 in New York. The genre first emerged in New Orleans and has given rise to an extraordinarily rich diversity of musical styles, one of which, swing jazz or simply swing, was dominant in the 1930s.
The Zoot Suiters are one of the finest exponents of this genre in Spain, infusing their music with joy, optimism and talent as they integrate great swing classics with magnificent adapted pop versions: don't miss this latest appearance in San Javier! España.
This third concert of the 2023 San Javier Jazz Festival begins at 22.30 in the Plaza de España and admission is completely free of charge.
