The agricultural sector in Lorca is supporting the efforts of the town hall of the municipality to fight coronavirus and has donated disinfectant and ceded the use of agricultural machinery to use in the task.
Although many independent companies and individuals are supporting the initiative, the biggest donation has come from the co-operative Alimer, which incorporates 1750 small producers of fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants, milk and livestock producers spread across the Guadalentín valley and the Vega Alta del Segura, which has donated 1080 litres of sodium hypochlorite.
Now that the episode of torrential storms has passed, spraying in the most transited areas of the municipality can begin.
