Lorca public swimming pools open for summer on July 1

The municipal swimming pools of Zarcilla de Ramos and La Parroquia will have aquagym and swimming classes this summer

The municipal swimming pools of Zarcilla de Ramos and La Parroquia in the municipality of
Lorca will open on July 1, and will offer swimming and aquagym courses for various levels.
Visitors can make use of these public swimming pools to take a dip and cool down this summer in Lorca.
The Department of Sports has also organised several courses at the pools, which will be held in the afternoons from July 4 to 28, including aquagym and swimming courses for levels 0 and 1.
The aquagym activity, consisting of exercises in the water with musical accompaniment, is for people between the ages of 16 and 65.
The level 0 swimming courses are aimed at children from the age of five who do not know how to swim and the instructor may require the accompaniment of an adult. Swimming level 1 is aimed at children aged five and over who know how to swim a little bit and can swim 15 metres in a big pool.
At the Zarcilla de Ramos pool, the sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the aquagym sessions at 3.10pm; the level 0 swimming sessions at 4pm and 4.50pm hours; and the level 1 swimming sessions at 5.40pm.
At the La Parroquia pool, these courses will be on Wednesdays and Fridays. The level 0 swimming class will begin at 4pm and the level 1 swimming class at 4.50pm. The aquagym class will take place at 5.40pm.
To take part in these courses it is necessary to register in advance either in person at the Felipe VI Sports Complex or online on the local
Department of Sports website.
Registration costs 25 euros.
