This walking tour of the old centre of the town of Yecla, in the north of the Region of Murcia, highlights the most important monuments and buildings and is designed to inform both non-Spanish residents (including those in the rural district of Raspay) and visitors about the heritage of the area.
The visit starts in the Plaza Mayor, next to the Town Hall and the tourist office, at 10.30, and lasts approximately two and a half hours. Although there is no charge prior registration is necessary online here.
Further information about the tour and about Yecla in general, including the visits to wineries in the municipality, is available from the tourist office (Plaza Mayor, telephone 968 754104, email turismo@yecla.es). There is a maximum of six people per booking.
