The temperatures will easily exceed 30 degrees in Alicante province over the next few days
It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster weather-wise in Alicante province over the past few weeks but the coming weekend, the first official one of spring, promises to be dry, bright and unseasonably warm. The chilly nights will begin to heat up and daytime temperatures will reach a toasty 32ºC in parts.
Thursday March 23
Thursday will start off a little overcast with probable mist and fog banks along the coast, but this will clear throughout the day. A southerly breeze won’t have much impact on the temperatures which will begin rising across Alicante province.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: minimum 12ºC; maximum 25ºC
Alicante: 11ºC; 22ºC
Denia: 9ºC; 23ºC
Elche: 8ºC; 25ºC
Orihuela: 9ºC; 29ºC
Friday March 24
It will be slightly cloudy for the most part on Friday although there will be plenty of sunny spells. The mercury is on the rise again and most parts of the province will hit temperatures unusually high for this time of year. A southerly wind may feel stronger along the coast.

Alcoy: minimum 13ºC; maximum 27ºC
Alicante: 11ºC; 28ºC
Denia: 12ºC; 25ºC
Elche: 10ºC; 30ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC; 31ºC
Saturday March 25
Very little change is expected on Saturday although the temperatures will suddenly dip by a couple of degrees across the board. The day will be mostly clear with some high clouds and a variable light wind will give way to sea breezes in the afternoon.

Alicante: 16ºC; 24ºC
Denia: 12ºC; 22ºC
Elche: 14ºC; 26ºC
Orihuela: 14ºC; 28ºC
Sunday March 26
After taking a bit of a nosedive on Saturday the mercury will ramp right back up again on Sunday, reaching summer-like highs of 32ºC in Orihuela. It will be a mostly bright, sunny day with temperatures rising throughout the province.
