Pets are now allowed at Parque Almenara mall

ARCHIVED ARTICLE -

The shopping centre in Lorca has gone pet-friendly and now allows dogs to enter

Pets are now allowed at Parque Almenara mall
The Parque Almenara Centro Comercial shopping center in Lorca can now be visited with the whole family since they have opened their doors to pets, becoming an animal-friendly space.

Customers who wish can go to the shopping centre with their pet and spend a day of shopping and entertainment with the whole family.

Pets are now allowed at Parque Almenara mallPets will be able to access the common areas of the shopping centre and all those establishments that have a pet friendly sticker on their windows.

To guarantee the harmonious coexistence of humans and animals in the mall’s common areas, pet owners must take into account the following rules:

  1. The entrance of pets to the shopping center is allowed with the limitations included in these regulations, so if you access the facilities with your pet it is tacitly understood that they will be accepted.
  2. Pets should always be on a short leash next to their owner, never loose in the mall.
  3. Breeds classified as potentially dangerous dogs must wear a muzzle.
  4. The animal must always remain on the floor, in their owner’s arms or in a carrier.
  5. Pets should not relieve themselves in the facilities. If you cannot stop them, please clean up after them, or notify the security and cleaning service if you cannot clean it up (+34 968 46 37 37).
  6. Pets may not enter the bathrooms, breastfeeding room and children’s areas, nor are they allowed on the furniture of the shopping centre.
  7. It is totally forbidden to leave your pet tied up or unattended in the shopping centre.
  8. Never use escalators with your pet, for their own safety. It is recommended that you use the elevator instead.
  9. Pets may not enter the hypermarket, restaurants or cafeterias, and it will be the premises themselves that determine if they allow pets to enter or not.
  10. The establishments that allow the entry of your pet will be identified in their window as “Pet friendly”.
  11. Parque Almenara Shopping Centre reserves the right to modify these general rules for pet access, at any time, in accordance with certain situations that support the safety of its visitors.
  12. Parque Almenara is waiting for you! Woof woof!

Murcia’s second biggest centro comercial has more than just shopping – it’s everything you could want from a day out!

Parque Almenara Shopping Centre in the Lorca and Aguilas area
Parque Almenara is one of the largest retail and leisure malls in the Lorca and Águilas area, offering the full ‘all under one roof’ shopping experience, except it is open to the elements!

It has all your favourite brands and shops like Stradivarius and Mango, spread out over two easily accessed levels. There is also a Carrefour, plus larger retail units for electrical products and home and garden goods.

Parque Almenara Shopping Centre in the Lorca and Aguilas areaUnlike other shopping centres, Parque Almenara is a shopping mall where the stores are located in a network of streets, like a whole shopping village that covers almost 150,000m2, making it the second largest shopping centre in the Region of Murcia.

One of the most striking features of Parque Almenara is its three canvas tents suspended 20 metres above the outdoor area, creating a shaded zone and an oasis of calm right in the middle of the mall.

Parque Almenara Shopping Centre in the Lorca and Aguilas areaAs well as the opportunity for a day’s retail therapy, Parque Almenara also offers the makings of good night out. There is a 10-pin bowling alley with 20 lanes and an entertainment complex, plus a multiscreen cinema with ten screens showing the latest offerings from Hollywood and the best 3D movies, and even original version English-language films.

And with no fewer than eight separate options to grab a bite to eat at the food court, you can stay at the Parque Almenara all day if you want to!

You can even take your dog along with you as pets are allowed into the mall, an animal-friendly place.

How to get there

Parque Almenara is located on the Lorca–Águilas road C-3211 at km 1.9. On a GPS, the coordinates to put in are: N 37º 63´ W -1º 69´

If you’re going by bus, there is a direct bus route that leaves from Apolonia.
