Click HereDescribed as an “urban maritime tour”, this visit explores how food is brought from the sea of Águilas to your table, and includes a stroll around the fishing port, a visit to the market where the fleet brings their catch, the Pescadores seafront walk, the marketplace and the archaeological museum.
Along the way your official tour guide explains Águilas’s rich historical and cultural heritage related to fishing, the different techniques used, some of the locally caught fish species and the dishes prepared with them, and the salted fish products which characterize the area.
The tour starts at 16.30 alongside the statue of Icarus on the seafront and lasts approximately 2 hours.
Price: 6 euros for adults, 3 euros for children aged 6 to 12, infants free, payable in cash at the start of the visit.
