The tour begins at the Tourist Office at 18.30 and lasts between two and two and a half hours. Bookings should be made online here as of approximately one month prior to the date of the event.
In the course of its long and interesting history the natural resources of Águilas attracted prehistoric settlers, then the Romans and finally the British (!), all of whom found different reasons to establish settlements in the municipality and exploit the local minerals, fish and grasses.
This visit is free of charge, leaving you a little cash in your pocket to enjoy eating out in the town afterwards or staying for the weekend – the tourist office will be happy to provide you with details of where a good lunch can be obtained and accommodation details!
