The new weather front will see temperatures fall across Alicante province this weekend
The arrival of a 'mini squall' in Alicante province looks set to bring rain and thunderstorms over the next few days, accompanied by a drop in temperatures, particularly along the coast.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast cloud and overcast skies for most of Thursday December 1, with the possibility of thunderstorms and locally heavy or persistent showers in coastal areas, more so on the north coast, and weaker and occasional showers inland. A light variable northeasterly wind in the morning will become slightly more intense on the coast in the afternoon.

Moving into Friday December 2 and heavy cloud will persist, again with showers and possible thunderstorms, locally heavy or persistent on the coast, and weaker and occasional further inland. Morning mists and fog are also forecast in inland areas. Temperatures are unlikely to change notably and a northeast wind will be moderate with intervals of strong gusts on the coast; light to moderate inland.
