Direct buses to La Manga, Cala Cortina, Mazarrón, San Pedro del Pinatar and Playa Honda will be provided more regularly from this week
The transport company ALSA announced that their summer schedule will be starting on June 25 for line 12, ‘Bus Playa’, which provides transport from Cartagena to Cala Cortina, and on July 5 for other urban lines to La Manga, El Portús, Playa Honda, Mazarrón and San Pedro del Pinatar.‘Bus Playa’ will be leaving Cartagena towards Cala Cortina at 10.30, 12.00, 13.30, 16.00. 17.30, 19.00 and 20.30, while the return trips from Cala Cortina will be at 10.45, 12.15, 13.45, 16.15, 17.45, 19.15 and 20.45.Meanwhile the bus from Cartagena to El Portús will be departing at 9.30, 11.00, 12.30, 16.30, 18.00 and 19.30, and the return trips leave at 10.00, 11.30, 13.00, 17.00, 18.30 and 20.00.From Monday, July 5, the direct bus line from Cartagena to La Manga will be leaving every 30 minutes (from 8.00 to 21.00) while the bus from Cartagena to La Manga through the villages will leave every hour (from 6.30 to 23.30).The direct return trip from La Manga will also set off every 30 minutes (from 7.00 to 21.00) and the return trip through the villages will set off every hour (from 7.30 to 00.30).The urban bus in La Manga will be running every 30 minutes from Cabo de Palos to Veneciola (Km 18) from 7.00 until the service ends, which will depend on the Covid restrictions.In addition, the bus that provides a direct connection between Cartagena and Playa Honda will set off from the city at 8.45, 11.00, 14.30, 16.45 and 21.00 and set off from Playa Honda at 7.20, 10.00, 13.15, 15.45, and 20.00.Another three daily buses will be provided between Cartagena and San Pedro del Pinatar at 8.30, 14.30 and 17.00, while the return buses will set off at 6.15, 12.30 and 19.00 from San Pedro.Mazarrón will also have a direct connection with Cartagena, with buses setting off at 9.15, 11.00, 15.00, 17.30, 18.30 and 21.30 from Cartagena and at 6.30, 10.30, 12.15, 16.15, 18.45 and 19.45 from Mazarrón.The start point for these services is the respective bus station.For enquiries about bus services, the best place to ask for information is the respective local tourist information office.
