Sweets n Cones Orlandi Gelato is a family-run business in Los Alcázares in the Mar Menor area of the Murcia region specialising in homemade ice cream in a variety of flavours. They also offer many other sweet and savoury food as well as a catering service.

The traditional, 100-year-old Italian recipe used by Sweets n Cones was bought off an Italian family named Orlandi in Scotland back in 2009, allowing the business to make delicious gelato in a wide range of flavours, from classics such as chocolate, strawberry and vanilla to more adventurous flavours such as bubble gum, apple crumple and Baileys.

In addition to their signature ice cream and ice cream sundaes, Orlandi also make a variety of ice cream cakes, fudges and sweets, which can be bought individually or in catering platters, and offer a savoury selection, including sandwiches, quiches, full English breakfasts.

Catering and party platters cost between seven and twelve euros, and a special Gelato Bar can be arranged upon request, perfect for events such as weddings or birthday parties.

Another speciality offered by the business is Afternoon Tea, with different menus available, including for customers with specific dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, low-sugar); platters cost between 8.50 and 16.95 euros.

The Sweets n Cones Orlandi Gelato ice cream shop, which is located on Calle Cartagena in Los Alcázares, has outdoor and indoor seating (with air conditioning) and is very dog friendly. Kids’ menus are available for lunch and sweets and they have highchairs for babies too.
