Tennis Club Restaurant Totana
Top value lunchtime Menu del día just 10 euros and evening A La Carte.
The Restaurante Club de Tenis in the western outskirts of Totana is located among the seven tennis courts and two paddle tennis courts of the racket club on a small hill overlooking the Guadalentín valley and the Sierra de las Moreras, but operates as a separate concern from the tennis club itself and attracts a large number of non-playing customers.
The reason for its popularity is the simple, straightforward Spanish food offered in this friendly, family-run establishment. Lunchtime set menus are priced at only 10€, including a drink, coffee or a choice of house desserts, and á la carte options and tapas are also available day and night. The set menus are available from Monday to Friday, while tapas and a la carte options can be ordered at any time, except for Sunday evenings when the kitchen is closed. A popular option is to enjoy an al fresco dining experience on the terrace, looking out over the courts and the Guadalentín valley towards the mountains of Mazarrón.
The restaurant cum bar-cafeteria is open every day from 11.00 until late, and every effort is made to ensure that all are made to feel welcome, including children, for whom there is a small playground next to the main building. Access for the disabled is relatively easy from the ample car park area, and group parties and special occasions can also be catered for by arrangement.Menu Del Dia
The Club de Tenis serves up a great set lunch deal in Totana
For a good value lunch in the outskirts of Totana look no further than the Club de Tenis on the western outskirts of the town, where for 10€ per head customers can eat either inside or on the outdoor terrace.
The price includes first and main courses, a drink, a choice of house desserts and coffee. Menus are available from Monday to Friday, with a range of a la carte options and tapas offered at all times. All the dishes are made using local ingredients and to traditional family recipes, with generous portions meaning nobody leaves the restaurant hungry!
The expat community is always generous in their praise for this facility and the menu del día is always commented on as offering excellent value for money.
