Local police intensify sanctioning work
Local police have been increasing the number of controls in areas of the municipality and say that the intensification of police controls shows the generalized compliance of the population with preventive measures against the contagion of the coronavirus, although a small minority -mainly the younger sector- are being sanctioned for their irresponsibility, accounting for dozens of daily fines, which are sent to the Ministry of Health for processing. The infringed regulations are, mainly, the non-use of a protective mask, excess of occupants in vehicles, illegal private gatherings and group sizes exceeding the established levels.
