ARCHIVED - Unstable weather ahead this week although temperatures remain around 30 degrees
ARCHIVED ARTICLE All of Murcia can expect rain on Wednesday with generalised cloud cover all week
This week the weather is likely to be unsettled and a little stormy in the Murcia region, as an Atlantic storm spreads across Spain from south-west to north-east, bringing rain and storms.
Murcia is likely to miss most of the heavier rains and is expecting showers and potentially storms, but mainly inland in the higher areas of the region, with Wednesday being the day on which generalised rain could cover the whole region.
The rain is not expected to be torrential and it is not anticipated that this storm front will bring particularly serious storms to Murcia, although Aemet will be monitoring the situation closely and will issue storm warnings should the situation change.
Most of the week it is likely to be misty in the mornings, cloudy during the day with the risk of storms and showers inland, and the skies clearing in the evening. However, it will remain surprisingly warm, and temperatures are right at the top of the twenties and in the low 30s right across the region throughout the week, making this a superb week to get out in the garden and catch up with a few jobs!.
Minimum temperaturas overnight will remain fairly high, dropping down to 16-17 degrees inland in the higher areas, but remaining over 20 on the coast and in Murcia city for much of the week.
