Parking
Location of public parking in Murcia
The city has more than 6000 parking spaces in different parts of the city. On city streets, parking is usually regulated by ORA. Rates and schedules depend on the areas, with orange-coloured places reserved for residents with badges.
There are also more than a dozen underground car parks throughout the city. Rates vary according to the areas.
MURCIA also has park-and-ride services outside the old town, but given the distance, you could easily reach the city centre in a short period of time either on foot or by public transport. Parking at the park-and-ride service is usually free or very inexpensive.
In the city of Murcia, motorcycles must not park on the pavement, and doing so can incur a penalty. The city has specific parking spots for motorbikes.
