Parque Almenara shopping centre Lorca

It contains the widest local selection of shops, one of the largest Eroski supermarkets in the area, a selection of restaurants and bars, plus a multiplex cinema and bowling alley.

 

The retail outlets offer fashion, footwear, accessories and cosmetics, furniture and furnishings, home and garden wares, electronic goods, music and video, and children’s toys. All the most popular big name brands are represented, including C&A, H&M, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Zara, Pull & Bear, Springfield, Jack&Jones, Carolina Boix, Druni, Marvimundo and Mas Bebe; Media Markt, Corte Asia and Casa all have large stores on-site.

 

The main mall area is on two levels (with lifts and escalators, of course) and much of it is open-air, offering an unusual al fresco retail experience. For those who love to shop, it’s possible to spend much of the day here with plenty of dining options for a lunchtime break, including Burger King, Foster’s Hollywood, the Jamaica coffee shop, Ñam Ñam, Taberna Real and, for dessert, El Arte del Helado – whether it’s a quick bite or a leisurely three-course meal, all needs are catered for. For those with families, there are two separate play areas – one on each level – called Toboggan and Fun in the Jungle. There’s also a free kids club near to Eroski where children from the ages of three to ten will be entertained and looked after while mum and dad enjoy the shopping.

 

For non-retail activities, Parque Almenara offers all you need for a Bowling and Cinema evening.

 

The ACEC 10-screen cinema shows all the latest releases including English language movies with the original soundtrack. Meanwhile the bowling alley, Pleno Lorca, offers a chance to improve your 10-pin prowess or practice your billiards or darts. And of course, for those who enjoy the ‘one-armed bandits’, there is a Pause & Play video game and slot machine area.

 

Access to Parque Almenara could not be easier, with a simple exit off the C-3211 a few minutes south of the town of Lorca. There is both underground parking beneath the main shopping centre, ideal for hot summer days, and a large open air car park between the mall area and the other retail units such as Casa and Media Markt.
