From 8th June onwards El Faro opens daily for the summer months.

The El Faro Café Bar occupies the best spot in the whole of the Puerto de Mazarrón. The Café Bar is situated at the top end of the Puerto De Mazarrón, next to the lighthouse, and on the same hillside as the figure of Jesus which looks out over the bay and surrounding countryside. The El Faro terraces and gardens offer a green oasis from which to enjoy the best views of the whole of the port area and across to La Azohía Bay. This establishment has been here since 1968 and is something of a Mazarrón landmark

Visitors can enjoy coffees, ice-cream, cocktails, drinks, snacks, cakes and pastries while enjoying the attentive welcome of the service team, who go out of their way to ensure visitors remember the friendly, professional and courteous service, as well as the superb views and location. Not only is this the ideal spot for a refreshing drink after a hard morning’s sunbathing, the ideal location for a mid morning coffee and pastry but is also the perfect place to enjoy a pre/dinner drink as the sun sets or an evening cocktail.

El Faro prides itself on both the quality and sheer range of cocktails on offer. Customers can enjoy a Gin Fizz, Pink Lady, Piña Colada,  Blood Mary, Coco Loco, Margarita or any one of a number of exotic alternatives. Sitting on the El Faro terrace, watching the sun go down while sipping a Mojito or a G’n’T has to one of Mazarrón’s true pleasures.

Special events As well as offering the perfect location for ‘afternoon tea’ or an evening of celebratory drinks, the management also offer the perfect location for small-scale sociable occasions. Although the venue is not available for private functions, and remains open for all regardless of whether groups are present, El Faro is the perfect venue for a special occasion, welcoming large groups of family and friends.

New terrace

In the summer of 2014 a new terrace area was opened for drinks and cocktails, equipped with balcony seating and sun loungers for a truly relaxing experience while taking in the panoramic views over the marina.

During July and August, El Faro will be hosting regular musical events, with live concerts every Thursday evening, and guest DJs on Saturday afternoons & evenings. See our Facebook for details.
