It is hardly believable the hot weather which is forecast for early this week in Murcia, nor the rapid drop off we can expect after that
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday December 14
The weather in the Region of Murcia this week will be beautifully sunny and much drier than last week, with temperatures on Monday and Tuesday rising up to around 10 degrees more than they were on the same days last week, but then dropping by Friday and Saturday to be about five degrees lower than they were a week before.
Monday December 11 starts off misty on the coast of Murcia, from Águilas in the southwest of the region past Mazarrón and Cartagena up to La Manga and San Pedro del Pinatar in the east. But then it’s sunny all day long with a little high cloud cover toward the afternoon.
It will be another gorgeously warm day like Sunday was, and Tuesday 12 will be even warmer, with temperatures as high as 30ºC forecast in the central Murcia towns of Totana and Alhama.

On Wednesday 13 it will be slightly cloudier, especially towards the afternoon in the coastal areas, and some rain from neighbouring Jaén, Granada and Albacete may pass over into the far northwest of the Region of Murcia. On the whole, though, it will be dry, even as temperatures begin to drop sharply in comparison with the day before.
Thursday 14 will be sunnier, but getting colder by about three degrees each day. By Friday 15 night-time temperatures will be down to 1ºC in Jumilla and Yecla and 7-9ºC in the south, and daytime temperatures will not be higher than 14-18ºC.
Saturday 16 will be a bit blowy, with windspeeds up to 25kmh around Cartagena and the coast, and temperatures will continue to drop over the weekend, even as it remains sunny and not too cloudy.
