A huge variety of courses and activities at the San Javier time bank 2026-27

From tennis to Spanish for foreigners, from yoga to patchwork, broaden your horizons at the Banco del Tiempo in San Javier!

The ever-popular “time bank” returns to the municipality of San Javier in November for its 21st season, an initiative in which members of the community offer their time and expertise to give a number of courses to anyone interested in taking up a hobby or widening their knowledge in a huge range of carrying fields.

The courses on offer during 2026-27 include macramé, viniyoga, reiki, pilates, languages (including Spanish for foreigners), meditation, painting, poetry and many more, and registration for all of them is open throughout the year on weekdays between 9.30 and 13.30: initial registration is from 14th to 20th September.

Registration is available by following the QR code alongside – if you need help don’t hesitate to call the Time Bank office on 968 190782 on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9.00 and 13.30 (WhatsApp 680 275287, email bancodeltiempo@sanjavier.es, Calle Bernal 13 in Santiago de la Ribera).

9.30 to 12.00: Table tennis for fun at the Polideportivo.

10.00 to 11.30: English (intermediate) in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

10.00 to 13.00: Painting on fabrics (advanced) in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

10.00: Reiki in the Salita Príncipe de Asturias, grupo A 10.00 to 11.00, grupo B 11.00 to 12.00.

12.00 to 13.30: Spanish for native English speakers in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

12.15 to 13.00: Pilates (grupo A) at the Gimnasio Príncipe de Asturias.

16.00 to 17.30: Sewing repairs in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

16.00 to 17.30: Learn how to use your sewing machine in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

17.00 to 19.00: Board games at the Centro de Mayores.

17.30 to 19.30: Scrap-Cati in the Sala de Usos Múltiples of the CSS.

18.30 to 19.30: Meditation in the Aula Miscelánea of the CSS (starts 5^th October).
