Pego in the Marina Alta region of the province recorded a whopping 204 litres/m2 in the same period on Sunday September 25, but the downpours are not expected to reach the same extreme levels today.

On the coast, a moderate north-easterly wind is forecast; inland, light variable winds will be predominantly easterly.
