The province of Alicante will have blue skies and sunshine for the start of this week
This week the province of Alicante will be sunny and the skies will be blue. Temperatures will be hot for this time of the year come mid-week, so make sure you have your sun cream at hand.
Highs of 24ºC on Thursday are sure to be welcomed by many on the coast, as they take to the beach for some winter sun, even as other parts of Spain get pouring rain.
Monday January 20
High 17ºC Low 3ºC
The weather is set to be clear throughout the day on Monday January 20, with blue skies and the temperatures rising to 17ºC come the afternoon.
The wind speed for the day will reach up to 20 kph and will be blowing from the south.
Night-time lows will be around 3ºC in the south of the province, while in Alicante city the weather will remain more mild in the night with lows of 6ºC, slightly higher than last week.
Tuesday January 21
High 18ºC Low 7ºC
The forecast for Tuesday January 21 is for sunshine and clear skies once again, with highs reaching 18ºC in the afternoon throughout much of the area.
The wind speed for the day will reach up to 18 kph and will be blowing from the south.
Night-time lows will drop to 7ºC in the south of the province, while in Alicante city the weather will remain mild in the night with lows of 10ºC.
Wednesday January 22

Wednesday is looking to be another warm and sunny day, with temperatures rising above the 20-degree mark as we approach the end of January.
The wind speed for the day will reach 15 kph and will be blowing predominantly from the south.
Night-time lows will drop to 7ºC in the south of the province, while the north will remain mild with lows of 10ºC.
Thursday January 23
High 24ºC Low 8ºC
Thursday is set to be another glorious day of sunshine and heat in Alicante, with highs getting up to 24ºC in the south of the province.
The wind will be very light on Thursday and will be blowing from the north, apart from in Torrevieja where it will be more likely to come from the south.
Night-time lows will drop to 8ºC in the south of the province, while the north will remain mild with lows of 12ºC.
