Andalusia weather forecast October 30-November 5: Remember, remember the rains of November
ARCHIVED ARTICLE -
Nights will get colder as the rain continues to sweep across the south of Spain
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday November 4
Remember, remember the sun of September? Well, those sunny, plus-30-degree conditions are a thing of the past as we close out October with Halloween and welcome November with the All Saints’ Day bank holiday and Guy Fawkes’ Night next Sunday.
This week in the south of Spain, there will be rain coming and going across Andalucía all week long thanks to Storm Celine, with the western and central parts getting the worst of it, while the east remains fairly dry but with temperatures dropping as in other places.
Monday October 31 brings rain to Huelva, Seville and the central parts of the province of Córdoba. In fact, Huelva and Seville will be on yellow alert in the morning for the possibility of rains in excess of 15mm per hour and up to 40mm per hour in some places.
Andalucía weather warnings, Monday October 30
Huelva will get off quite lightly on Tuesday October 31, with just some ominous cloud cover, but the rest of Andalucía will have pouring rain all afternoon and into the evening that is sure to piddle on many children’s trick-or-treating plans.
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday October 31
The national holiday on Wednesday November 1 gives people the chance to dry out a little as the sun pokes through everywhere except in the far northwestern corner of the region, and maximum temperatures during the day may even rise slightly, even as minimums fall.

On Thursday November 2, however, the rain returns with a vengeance to give almost everyone – Almería excepted – another soaking. As if that weren’t bad enough, there will be strong winds of up to 35kmh along the coasts of Cádiz and Málaga, while Almería could see winds as strong as 50kmh.
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday November 2
Expect these showery conditions to come and go across the weekend, with more very strong gusts to come on Saturday 4, putting a dampener on any fireworks or bonfire plans you may have for Guy Fawkes’ Night on Sunday November 5.
