It will be mostly sunny and cloudy this week, but there is a day when everyone will get a nice shower
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday October 2
There is more rain for Andalucía this week, but luckily it is only a little bit again, and not too strong. Before that, we have three days of fine sunshine and slightly cloudy skies to welcome the start of October.
According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), Monday September 30 brings “Clear skies with intervals of morning low cloud on the western Mediterranean coast and the area of the Strait of Gibraltar, where occasional early morning drizzle is not ruled out”. Temperatures will rise inland and there will be “light to moderate easterly winds on the Mediterranean coast and Cádiz, blowing strong with occasional very strong gusts in the Strait of Gibraltar, tending to diminish in the afternoon”. Elsewhere, there will be light variable winds.
Tuesday October 1 brings a very similar outlook, with “occasionally strong” winds forecast around Cádiz and Gibraltar, especially in the early part of the day, and the temperatures continuing to rise.
There are more cloudy skies and sunshine on Wednesday October 2, “with the possibility of occasional light rainfall in the north of the region in the evening”. Temperatures will reach their peak for the week – up to 33ºC in inland parts like Sevilla and Córdoba, and getting up to 26-29ºC on the coast. Strong intervals of winds are forecast on the eastern Mediterranean coast, around Almería.
It is on Thursday October 3 when the rain will sweep down across the community, but it will be short-lived and not too heavy, leaving a smattering of moistness across pretty much every province, starting in the northwest in the morning and moving down to the southeast by the afternoon, where there could also be some strong winds.
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday October 3
By Thursday evening, all the rain will have cleared up, but it will return for Granada, Almería and the coast of Málaga on Friday morning, October 4. Aside from that, it will be a sunny, if somewhat cloudy, weekend in Andalucía.
