Andalucía weather forecast, Monday January 20
When it comes to the weather in Andalucía, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) the western half of the region will be wet for much of the week, while the east mostly gets glorious sunshine, though temperatures will rise for everyone across the board.
The far northwest of Andalucía, in the provinces of Huelva and Sevilla, are on yellow alert for heavy rainfall for at least Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Monday January 20 will also be rainy in Málaga, Córdoba and Jaén, with thunderstorms in Cádiz.

On Tuesday 21, the rain will die back and it will only be stormy and wet in the west, while from Córdoba and Cádiz eastwards it will be lovely and sunny. Minimum temperatures at night-time will begin to rise and there will be no more sub-zero chills, while daytime highs will reach up to 24ºC in Almería, but will be more like 15-20ºC in most other places.

This pattern is continued on Wednesday 22, though once again the rain is forecast to stretch across as far over as Granada and Jaén by the afternoon. Still temperatures continue to remain mild, especially at night, when they will be around 7-11ºC in the northern inland areas, 13-17ºC on the coast and 2-5ºC in the mountainous Sierra of Granada.
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday January 22
By Thursday 23, poor old Huelva will thankfully be able to wave goodbye to the rain, at least for the moment, sending it eastwards to cover the middle of the region, where it will drench a strip running from the coast of Cádiz diagonally up to the northern border where Jaén meets Castilla-La Mancha. Even this rain will die down towards the evening, leaving a dry night.

That sets us up for a lovely, sunny Friday for everyone, with clear skies and sunshine all day long and temperatures that reach past 20ºC in many places, and even 16º-17ºC during the day for the far northern parts of Andalucía.

The good weather will be short-lived, though, as the rain makes its grand return on Saturday 25, giving Huelva, Sevilla, Córdoba, Cádiz, Granada, Jaén and even part of Málaga another good dose of water to help top up their reservoirs with water ready for the summer. Temperatures are also forecast to drop by a degree or two on Saturday.
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday January 25
It will be wet all Saturday night and into Sunday morning, January 26, going on to dry out later in the day but still drizzly in certain spots of inland Málaga and Granada.
