ARCHIVED ARTICLE -
It could be a case of four seasons in one week for Andalucía, with some rain and wind battling with warm sunshine but also chilly nights!
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday December 5
This week’s weather in the southern Spanish autonomous community of Andalucía, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), is due to be mostly dry and sunny, with some cloud cover and mild temperatures, though there could be a bit of a dip towards colder conditions near the end of the week.
For Monday December 2, Aemet forecasts “skies with intervals of medium and high clouds, without ruling out occasional showers, more likely in the afternoon and in the mountains” of Granada and Jaén. They also note that there will be “mist and fog, more likely on the Mediterranean coast” and there will be a chance of some calima dust in the air.

Wednesday 4 brings the chance of some early morning rain to the far northeast of the region, where Jaén meets the border of Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha, but for most it will be dry and bright, with temperatures on the coast reaching 19-23ºC and 16-17ºC further inland.

From Thursday 5 and heading into the weekend, it should be dry, bright and sunny all over with windspeeds behaving themselves.
The weekend’s weather should be pleasant for the most part, though there is a chance of rain on the coast of Granada, in Motril, on Sunday 8. Also on Sunday, temperatures will take a dip across the board, and the chill will be especially noticeable at night as it drops to 0ºC in the Sierra Nevada mountains, 2-5ºC in northern Andalucía, and 8-14ºC on the coast.
