ARCHIVED ARTICLE -April 13-14 Puerto Lumbreras Antiques Fair
Discover a treasure trove of collectibles in Puerto Lumbreras
Puerto Lumbreras is set to host the 9th edition of the National Collectibles Fair on April 13 and 14, organised by the 'Memories' Collectors Association in collaboration with the City Council. The fair will take place at the Municipal Sports Centre, bringing together exhibitors from all over Spain. This year's fair will feature three different sections. The first will be dedicated to buying and selling, where specialised sellers can showcase various collectible materials for sale. The second section will be an exchange section, allowing enthusiasts to trade collectibles amongst themselves. Finally, the third section will be an exhibition centre, where collectors can display their prized possessions. In addition to the antiques and memorabilia, the fair will also feature a display of classic vehicles on the Sunday, thanks to the collaboration of the Lorca Classic Vehicles Association. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire these vintage cars and even take part in a raffle for collectible gifts. The fair will run from 10am until 9pm on Saturday April 13, and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday April 14. Admission is free, and registrations for tables can be made until April 11 through the website www.puertolumbreras.es/feriadecoleccionismo.The only charge is for sellers’ tables, which will cost 20 euros and should be booked in advance.Exhibitors from all over Spain, including Madrid, Andalucía, Castilla La Mancha, the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Extremadura, Asturias and the Region of Murcia, have participated in previous editions. For more information, call 620 53 94 07 (Juan Antonio) or email: coleccionismopuertolumbreras@gmail.com.“Puerto Lumbreras will become, for another year, the headquarters and epicentre of collecting. This fair, where we can find articles of various kinds that can take us back to our childhood or simply make us see the ways of living in the past, is practically a tradition. Well, it means giving Puerto Lumbreras a different and interesting activity that encourages Lumbreras residents and visitors to enjoy a day in the municipality,” said the mayor. Also of interest: Semana Santa processions not to miss in the Region of MurciaImage: Ayuntamiento de Puerto Lumbreras
