Alicante will enjoy mild sunshine through Thursday and Friday, followed by showers and cooler breezes arriving at the weekend

Alicante will get a glimpse of more winter-like weather as clouds move in on Friday, breaking up the mild, sunny spell earlier in the week. The change will bring a few showers and cooler breezes, giving the province its first real taste of December weather. It looks like it will be a perfect weekend for snuggling up with a warm drink and a Christmas movie.

Thursday December 11

Thursday kicks off with sunny to partly cloudy skies, bringing plenty of pleasant sunshine along the coast and inland. A little morning fog or mist might pop up in some low-lying spots, but it should clear by late morning. Temperatures stay mild for mid‑December, with highs around 19°C and lows near 9°C.

Friday December 12

Friday should be partly sunny with some clouds building through the day. Early fog is possible again near the coast. Daytime temperatures will remain mild with highs close to 18°C and lows of around 9°C. No major rain is expected initially, though cloud cover will increase.

Saturday December 13

Saturday will bring a mix of sun and clouds but there will be a higher chance of scattered showers, especially inland, in the afternoon. The breeze will pick up along the coast, making the weather feel a touch cooler than the thermometer suggests. Highs should still be around 17°C and lows around 13°C but watch out for that real-feel temperature.

Sunday December 14

Sunday looks to be the cloudiest day over the weekend, with showers likely in the morning and lingering in places through the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will dip slightly to about 17°C with nighttime temperatures near 12°C.
