A 35-year-old Nottingham tourist has died after allegedly being beaten by bouncers in an unprovoked attack in the party resort of Magaluf in Mallorca.

Tobias White-Sansom was visiting his brother, millionaire Maximillian, and staying in his Spanish villa with his girlfriend when the shocking incident occurred.

According to the victim’s brother, on the night in question the father-of-two and his partner were having a night out in the popular Boomerang club, famous for its celebrity guests and DJs. Tobias reportedly went back inside to get his T-shirt but was told that his personal belongings had been stored away, so he went to get another drink.

Witnesses report that a security guard caught Tobias from behind while he was standing at the bar and the victim resisted, possibly because he was caught off guard. At this point, “three or four” bouncers knocked the Briton to the floor and beat him “really badly”.

“Then they handcuffed him and beat him really bad again,’ Maximillian said. “They then took him to another area and beat him again. The whole time he was handcuffed and restrained.

“They knelt on his head, his neck, beat him, took his shoes off and tried to break his toes. At the same time they were removing jewellery off him and putting it into their pocket.”

The police turned up less than 15 minutes later, at which point Tobias appeared to be “semi-unconscious and wasn’t holding his own neck with his head rolling”.

Maximillian, who is about to become England’s first billionaire through medicinal cannabis, reports that his brother fared little better with the officers, who slapped yet another set of handcuffs on, AND all the while as many as eight people were kneeling on him.

“Then a crowd of 50, 60 people gathered with some screaming ‘you’re going to kill him’. My brother was apparently pleading for his life.”

Tobias reportedly went into cardiac arrest and died five days later in Palma’s Llatzer Hospital.

While Maximillian vows to “close down” the Magaluf strip if he doesn’t get justice for his brother, Spanish police insist that an “intoxicated person” who had consumed a concoction of three different types of drugs and alcohol, assaulted the bouncers.

A spokesperson for Guardia Civil said: “This man was expelled from the nightclub for his aggressive behaviour and refusal to wear a T-shirt.

“This man assaulted the doorman of the nightclub for which the Guardia Civil arrested him for a crime of injury.

“The agents had to restrain him due to his resistance and aggressiveness”.
