Camposol Free Community Sports regular events and December schedule

The “Camposol Free Community Sports” group has been set up for all ages and fitness levels to exercise and have some fun

If you are interested in a bit of fitness, fun, and socialising then head for one of the group’s events or get-togethers and try out some of the fun games arranged on a regular basis. Think you are too old or infirm? Many of the members would consider themselves the wrong side of 65 and some have a few medical issues but most are experiencing improved fitness levels and new social interactions since the group started, with the chance to make new friends and partake in some of the sports. If you’re not sure come and watch before you give it a try!

After the well attended events in November here are the regular events and scheduled evnts for December

Regular events

New walking football training sessions from 9.30am until 10.00am on Mondays and Thursdays on Sector D. This is a fun compilation of light exercises and games based around walking football and precedes the actual walking football games which are played from 10am-11am. Everyone is welcome to attend either training or games or all of the sessions, some people prefer just the training, and others just prefer to play the actual games of walking football.

Mondays 10am-11am Walking Football (mixed and all ages) at the community sports pitch Calle Nogales, Campòsol D7

Tuesdays 1pm-3pm Board Games and activities Cats Bar Sector A, Camposol

Wednesday 4pm-5pm Walking Netball at the Condado Club, Condado de Alhama

Thursdays 10am-11am Ladies only walking football at the community sports pitch Calle Nogales, Camposol D7

Fridays 5pm-6pm Petanca, skittles and dominoes, Petanca Courts, Calle Piteras, D26 Camposol, Sector D

These events can change slightly from time to time but all updates are well advertised through the facebook page

Christmas Competitions and events

Pool doubles competition being held at Alley Palais (Sector B Commercial Centre) on Thursday 15th December.

Petanque doubles competition being held on Calle Piteras (D26) on Friday 16th December.

Carboot fund raiser at Marianos (Sector A, Calle Madrid) Sunday 18th December with some great items on sale ready for Christmas.

Scrabble competition held on Tuesday 20th December at Cats bar (Sector A Commercial Centre)

Pool singles competition being held at Alley Palais (Sector B Commercial Centre) on Thursday 22nd December.

Petanque singles competition being held on Calle Piteras (D26) on Friday 23rd December.

These are all free to enter and small prizes will be available (along with bragging rights of course).
