Finally, April showers: Andalusia weekly weather forecast April 22-28
ARCHIVED ARTICLE -
The south of Spain will be lucky enough to get some gentle rainfall this week
Andalucía will get some rain at the beginning of this week, but it will only be a little bit for certain areas on Monday before the sunny weather conditions return. Then, for the end of the week, the region will get some more rain, the late coming of the welcome April showers.
This Monday April 22 will be the week’s rainy day, when rainstorms in the afternoon cover the eastern half of Andalucía – the half that has had the least rain this winter and which most desperately need more to avoid severe drought restrictions this coming summer, including Almería, Granada and Málaga.

But the blessed rain will be short-lived, with most of it clearing up by Tuesday afternoon, April 23, some isolated spots of Cádiz and coastal Málaga notwithstanding. Seville, Córdoba and Huelva won’t get any rain at all.

Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 will be dry and sunny for everyone, apart from some possible isolated areas of rain on the Friday.
It is at the weekend, Saturday April 27 and Sunday 28, when the rain returns, and this time Huelva, Seville and the west will get a look in as well as almost everywhere else, with the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicting “cloud intervals with light rain” at some point over the weekend for every province and some thunderstorms to accompany the showery conditions in Huelva.

Run or shine, temperatures will be stable all week long, at around the same level they were at last week. A slight dip in temperatures may be felt, but nothing too drastic. Wind speeds will be gentle, and at no point should the rain be joined by strong winds, not even in the usually windier areas of Cádiz and Almería.
