Night-time temperatures will drop across Alicante province this week
Weather outlook on Wednesday December 6
The coming week will take on a decidedly wintery feel throughout Alicante province, with night-time temperatures plummeting as the days go on. However, the mercury will begin to rise into the 20s closer to the weekend and while rain is a possibility practically every day, it will be very light and scattered.
Monday December 4
Monday will dawn overcast and while the skies will clear somewhat throughout the day, it will still be largely cloudy and dull. Weak showers are forecast early on and a westerly wind will feel more intense along the coast and inland.
Both the daytime and night-time temperatures will rise slightly compared to the past couple of days.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Alcoy: 6ºC to 15ºC
Alicante: 8ºC to 18ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 19ºC
Elche: 7ºC to 17ºC
Orihuela: 6ºC to 15ºC
Tuesday December 5
Lightly cloudy skies will become more overcast in the afternoon but the temperatures will remain largely unchanged. A light wind from the west will be more gusty along the coast but should ease off later in the day.

Alcoy: 4ºC to 14ºC
Alicante: 10ºC to 16ºC
Denia: 10ºC to 17ºC
Elche: 9ºC to 17ºC
Orihuela: 8ºC to 17ºC
Wednesday December 6
Cloudy intervals will clear during the central hours of the day following weak and scattered rainfall in the early morning. Frosts will hit northern areas of the province while in the southwest, the wind will gather strength along the coast in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures could fall by a degree or two inland but there will be few changes elsewhere.

Denia: 9ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 9ºC to 16ºC

Thursday December 7
Thursday will be mostly cloudy and showers in the north during the afternoon will likely spread to the rest of the province in a more dispersed way. The mercury will remain unchanged in southern Alicante but night-time temperatures especially should increase everywhere else.
A southwesterly wind will feel stronger on the coast and could gather strength in the evening.
