The Jardin El Palmeral is a palm-lined shaded area used for outdoor concerts and activities in the summer and favoured by local residents throughout the year. The name "palmeral" refers to the palm trees around which the garden is built. It is near the El Pozo meat factory on the main arterial road in the eastern outskirts of the town.
