Mar 28-31 Santiago de la Ribera Outlet Fair
Bag a bargain with discounts of up to 50% in San Javier this weekend
The Santiago de la Ribera Outlet Fair is back for another year, taking place during the Easter weekend from Thursday March 28 until Sunday March 31 at the Barnuevo esplanade. This year, the fair features 17 businesses offering a diverse range of products including fashion, household goods, accessories and footwear, with discounts of more than 50%.
The Santiago de la Ribera Outlet Fair, which was one of the pioneers in the Region of Murcia, is characterised by its stunning location next to the Mar Menor, on Barnuevo beach. So in addition to the great deals to be had over the four days, the fair offers a variety of fun activities for all ages, including dragon boating, kayaking, paddle surfing and canoeing.
Children can enjoy a variety of workshops, while adults will be spoiled for choice with Full Dance workshops to learn Zumba and Bachata. There will also be performances by a flamenco ballet and the Yaiza Dance Studio.
Councillor for Commerce, Isabel Madrid, highlighted the importance of the fair “as a driver of local commerce and a focus of public attraction”.
The fair will also feature a special space for the brotherhoods of the Santísima Soledad del Mar Menor and the Brotherhood of San Francisco Javier, which will promote the processional parades of the local Holy Week. The main parades this Easter take place in San Javier on Holy Thursday and in Santiago de la Ribera on Good Friday.
Visitors can also enjoy a daily raffle, a municipal library with a daily gift of books, and a photo booth to capture memories of the event. The fair opens daily at 10am and runs until 10pm at night.
