March 12 to 15 Equimur Horse Show in Torre Pacheco The 30^th annual EQUIMUR International Thoroughbred Horse Show is being held from 12th to 15th March at the IFEPA exhibition and show venue in Torre Pacheco, along with an extremely wide range of events including equestrian shows, the Spanish national Purebred competition, cowboy riding, national and regional dressage competitions, the Alta Escuela Competition, a carriage or trap driving competition and many others.

March 12 to 15 Equimur Horse Show in Torre Pacheco The equine morphology competition features over 300 Spanish thoroughbreds on display and while this is the main event, the "sideshows" are arguably more eye-catching!

Also appearing is Santi Serra, perhaps the finest horse whisperer in the world, who will be taking part in the shows on the Saturday and Sunday, and there is a pony jump show too.

At the same time a host of workshops and informative talks for professionals and the public are offered alongside food and shopping areas and much more!

This is the second most important annual horse show in Spain, and animals are brought to Torre Pacheco from all over the country for the weekend.

The daily shows are a spectacle of acrobatic riding, cowboy skills, dressage, trap driving and even equestrian flamenco dancing, and tickets for these events are purchased separately from the admission to the general showground.

Opening hours at EQUIMUR 2026 are as follows:

Thursday March 12 - 9.00 to 20.00

Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14 - 9.00 to 21.00

Sunday March 15 - 9.00 to 19.00

Admission prices

The general admission fee to the venue during Equimur is 10 euros at the door or 8 euros if booked online in advance here. In addition, a season ticket for all 4 days (including parking) is available at 30 euros online here.

The IFEPA Fairs and Exhibitions Centre of the Region of Murcia, (the Palacio de Ferias y IFEPA Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre Exposiciones Región de Murcia IFEPA) has become one of the most important commercial reunion points for business professionals in South-eastern Spain, having been in operation from 1984.

IFEPA hosts many cultural & trading fairs, public exhibitions and events throughout the year, including the annual IFEPA Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre horse and dog shows, wedding show, antiques fair, car fair and tourism fair, as well as musical events.

The exhbition centre is spread over 57,098m², with both interior and exterior display areas, and on-site parking for more than 2,500 vehicles. In addition to the main exhibition areas, IFEPA also house a café, restaurant, VIP lounge, and several assembly and meeting rooms.

IFEPA Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre The centre is ideally located in the centre of the region, in the middle of the Murcia-Cartagena axis and near to Corvera International Airport, with the large population and the high number of tourists in the Mar Menor area guaranteeing an excellent attendance level at all the events it hosts.

The IFEPA Exhibitions Centre hosts a number of annual events at national level in collaboration with various bodies, associations and organisms across a variety of sectors, as well as hosting other cultural, sporting and community activities.
