More rain this week, but no alerts: Murcia weekly weather forecast November 4-10
Everything points to a much drier week in Murcia this week, but more rain is forecast for next weekend
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday November 9
After the storms, after all the disruption to daily life in Murcia, after all the devastation and loss of life in the neighbouring community to the north, finally the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast that there will not be any more large-scale, torrential downpours, at least for the foreseeable future.
Now, Aemet is predicting cloudy and foggy conditions for the rest of the week, with some sunshine and a chance of more showers (though thankfully weaker) come Thursday and the weekend, but stable temperatures that are neither much colder nor warmer than last week.
Monday November 4 will be largely sunny, though there will be cloudy patches especially around the southeast of Murcia, and the west will be foggy come the evening.

There is a similar forecast for Tuesday 5, Guy Fawkes’ Night, with mainly sunny and dry conditions for everyone but some cloud and foggy patches in the south and west, while Wednesday 6 will be just as dry but slightly cloudier all around.

It is on Thursday November 7 when Aemet forecasts more rain to come, though for now they are only predicting a slight chance of gentle showers around the north of the Region and along the Mar Menor area.

Friday 8 will be markedly cloudier and darker all told, but still dry according to current Aemet predictions, and it is not until Saturday afternoon, November 9, when they expect the rain to return to the entire Region, and lasting into Sunday 10, too.

As everyone knows, the long-term weather forecast can be difficult to predict, and Aemet’s predictions and the weather warnings they issue for extreme weather events can and do change at the drop of a hat. These warnings are only ever issued a maximum of three days in advance and sometimes far less.
Given the recent form of the weather in southern and eastern Spain and the allegations that the official warnings came too late for those in Valencia, it is a good idea to make sure you are up to date with the latest weather and emergency news for your area.
