The Costa Blanca tourist capital is preparing for the party of the year
Music, fireworks and fancy dress take centre stage at this year’s Benidorm Festival (Festes Majors Patronals), running between November 9 and 13. The annual patron saint celebrations are one of the most important fiestas in the tourism capital of the Costa Blanca, offering a unique mix of religious tradition and excitement.
Enjoy live performances by top artists like Carlos Baute, who will take the stage on Monday November 11 at the Plaza de SS.MM. Los Reyes de España, and the Marlene Orchestra, who will perform at Hort de Colón on the same night.
But there’s lots more. The world-class music line-up also includes:
Deprisa y Corriendo (Pop Rock) at Huerto Colón on Saturday November 9, at 11pm
Zarey (Urban Music) and a festival of local DJs at Plaza de SS.MM. Los Reyes de España on Saturday November 9, at 11.30pm

Fancy dress party
Benidorm’s annual costume party is one of the biggest in Europe and on November 13, people young and old will take to the streets in their most elaborate and creative get-up.
Last year around 40,000 people turned out for the street party and this year it is expected that number will be closer to 50,000.
Traditional events
In addition to the music, fireworks and fancy dress party, the city will also be hosting a range of traditional events in honour of its patron saint, including:
Entrada de Bandas
Staging of the Finding of the Virgen del Sufragio
Offering of Flowers
Processions in honour of the patron saint
Float parade on Tuesday night, followed by the traditional fireworks display
