Tennis and Paddle courts are available for hire

Apart from the well-publicized golf facilities on the resort there is also a tennis court in the central social club and eight paddle tennis courts at the southern end of the development. Alongside these courts is a small bar/café and a gym with running machine.

Tennis court reservations can be made on 968 041 840 for ten euros an hour between ten in the morning and ten at night (12 euros if playing under lights), with a 20% discount for residents. A 20-euro key deposit is required.

Paddle tennis reservations can be made on site or by calling 625 654 208: enough English is spoken to guarantee that a reservation will be made correctly! The facility closes for lunch and the siesta, but is open from 9.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 23.00 (21.00 at weekends).

The price is 10 euros an hour (or 13 if playing in the evening under lights), and if you’re new to the sport then there are classes for 40 or 70 euros per month (for one or two hours per week). Rackets can also be rented for just three euros if it’s your first experience of this highly enjoyable and sociable sport.

Swimming pools service each of the apartment blocks, and there are also pools at the hotel facilities.

Bicycles can be rented prior to arrival ( see separate article under resort facilities) and provide a practical means of getting about on resort. There are also plenty of cycle lanes around the Mar Menor.
