The mercury won’t exceed 35ºC all week in the Community of Andalucia
Andalucia will follow the course of the rest of Spain and enjoy considerably lower temperatures for the first half of the coming week, before the thermometers take another upward swing in time for the weekend.
After a scorching few days, no weather warnings are in place in Andalucia on Monday August 15 and the mercury shouldn’t rise above 35ºC during the day. The evenings will also be a lot more comfortable with only Malaga suffering through another tropical night of 25ºC.
Monday will be mostly clear with some intervals of medium and high clouds to the east of the community. A westerly wind is forecast which will be more intense in the east and along the Mediterranean coast, with occasional strong gusts in southern Almeria.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Almeria: 24ºC min; 33ºC max
Cádiz: 22ºC; 26ºC
Granada: 14ºC; 35ºC
Malaga: 25ºC; 35ºC
Seville: 19ºC; 32ºC
Tuesday August 16 brings another clear or slightly cloudy day, tending to be more overcast in the west and Strait area. The mercury will creep up the southwest of Andalucia but remain largely unchanged in the rest of the region. A westerly wind is predicted once again, more intense along the Mediterranean coast.

Almeria: 22ºC min; 31ºC max
Cádiz: 22ºC; 28ºC
Granada: 14ºC; 33ºC
Malaga: 24ºC; 35ºC
Seville: 18ºC; 33ºC
Wednesday August 17 is also free from any significant weather warnings so far. Little change to the temperatures aside from a very minor decrease in parts.

Almeria: 22ºC min; 31ºC max
Cádiz: 21ºC; 27ºC
Granada: 17ºC; 32ºC
Malaga: 24ºC; 32ºC
Seville: 19ºC; 32ºC
There will be a mostly clear or slightly cloudy start to the day on Thursday August 18. Night-time temperatures once more on the rise in Sierra Morena and the western part of the community, while day-time temperatures should show a slight decrease along the Mediterranean coast.
