Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday November 13
While the week’s weather starts mainly dry in Andalucía, the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts there will be rain somewhere in the community every day this week, accompanied by a sharp drop in temperatures when another DANA storm hits midweek.
On Monday November 11, the rain will be limited to the southeastern coastal area, around Málaga, Granada and Almería, while there will be heavy foggy in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Inland Almería and Jaén could have some light showers but otherwise it will be sunny all over.

Going into Wednesday 13, the rain and dark clouds sweep westward across Andalucía, enveloping Córdoba and Seville with heavy rain showers, too, as well as thunder and lightning towards the evening. In fact, the Costa del Sol is on yellow alert for heavy rains of up to 20mm per hour for most of the day. The heavy rainfall on Wednesday is accompanied by a generalised drop in temperatures of several degrees, and “hail” on the Mediterranean coast, according to Aemet.

The rain continues on Thursday 14, moving further west to give Seville, Cádiz and Huelva a drenching. More thunderstorms are possible on the coast and frost in high altitude areas, but Almería and Granada should begin to dry out come the afternoon.

For Friday 15, Aemet’s forecast is for Córdoba, Jaén and Málaga to form a dry corridor in the centre of the region where the sun can poke out and begin to help temperatures to climb up once again, while the eastern and western edges of Andalucía continue to receive dark clouds and more rain.

By Saturday 16, Aemet is expecting the rain to have petered out to a few weak and scattered showers, but these meteorological predictions can change drastically at a moment’s notice, so keep an eye on updated weather forecasts.
