The week will begin a little cooler in Alicante before the temperatures ramp back up on Thursday
The entire Valencian Community experienced record high temperatures over the weekend, with the mercury hitting a sweltering 30.8ºC in Alicante city on Sunday March 26. And while the week ahead will remain settled and sunny, the thermometers will take a dip in the coming days, especially along the province’s coast. This cooler period will be short-lived though, as the mercury is set to ramp back up by Thursday.
Monday March 27 will be largely bright and clear with some high clouds in the afternoon and while the day-time temperatures are set to fall it still promises to be a balmy day in the mid-20s.

There will be a cloudy start to Tuesday March 28, particularly along the coast, although this will clear to plenty of sunny spells as the day goes on. The mercury will continue to drop, falling to just 20ºC in most places and the night will be noticeably cooler.

Very little change is expected on Wednesday March 29 although the temperatures will begin to creep up once more, hitting the mid-20s further inland. Another slightly cloudy start to the day, but this will again clear later in the morning. A light east or southeasterly breeze will make it feel a bit cooler in coastal areas.
