The weather forecast for Easter in Alicante is looking somewhat unpredictable, with a mix of sun and rain showers expected throughout the holiday period. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), a DANA weather system will sweep across the country from west to east, bringing wet conditions to much of Spain. However, the Mediterranean coast is expected to remain largely sunny.
Monday March 25
On Monday, the sky is expected to be cloudy or overcast, with a good chance of mud showers that may be accompanied by the occasional storm.
Temperatures will remain relatively steady, with minimums staying the same and maximums decreasing slightly inland. The wind will be moderate, coming from the northeast on the coast and light easterly inland.

Alcoy: 10ºC to 16ºC
Alicante: 12ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 11ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 11ºC to 21ºC
Tuesday March 26
Tuesday will see cloudy skies persist, with scattered and weak rainfall possible in the interior of Alicante province during the second half of the day. Temperatures will continue to fall, with moderate westward winds picking up pace in the afternoon and potentially bringing very strong gusts to pre-coastal areas.
All of inland Alicante will fall under a yellow wind warning throughout Tuesday.

Alcoy: 5ºC to 14ºC
Alicante: 9ºC to 18ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 18ºC
Orihuela: 9ºC to 18ºC
Wednesday March 27
Wednesday will bring cloudy intervals, with more abundant cloud cover in the northern half of the region. There is a chance of weak rain inland, although the good news is that daytime temperatures should start to climb across the board.
Moderate westward winds will blow, occasionally becoming strong and producing very strong gusts inland.

Alcoy: 6ºC to 17ºC
Alicante: 10ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 23ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 23ºC
Orihuela: 8ºC to 23ºC
Thursday March 28
Thursday will see a similar pattern of cloudy intervals, gradually clearing to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Scattered rainfall is possible in the extreme north of the province, while temperatures will rise locally.
Moderate southeastern winds will blow, with a chance of very strong gusts in the northern interior during the first half of the day, subsiding in the afternoon.
